Hang cleans: 3 x 165, 3 x 175, 3 x 185, 3 x 195, 3 x 205, 3 x 215, 2 x 225
Snatch balance: used 165 lbs–I am terrible at these.
Wod: Very hard workout–rounds were 3:11, 3:49, 3:42, 3:44, 3:40. Toughest workout we have done in a while.
Another fun morning–it was awesome watching Nate dogg hang clean 300 lbs without moving his feet. Great job Nate.
1) 6 rounds:3 x hang cleans
175, 185, 205, 225, 235, 275, did a 1 rep PR @ 300lbs
2) Snatch Balance:
3 sets x 3 reps used 175, need to get better at this.
3) 5 rounds for times:
10 x man makers (50/30 lb)
12/8 chest to bar pull ups
12 burpees: 3:10, 3:48, 3:49, 3:45, 3:49
I agree with Sam, this was the hardest in a while. Everyday we go, I more and more motivated by the guuys that are in the 4:30 crew! Truley a remarkable group! Great job everyone
Nate – your hang clean looked like 150#. You are ready to compete at the Oly Lifts bro! Let me know if you need help finding a competition. And it would be wise to travel to Baton Rouge once or twice a month to get coaching from Matt. Hope to watch you live soon so I can give you some feedback. Keep it up hoss.
Simply put, I am the product of great programming, great coaching, and even better guys that I work out with!! Being beat more often times than not, it has pushed me to get to where I am, and where we ALL are! With people like Sam Gassiott, Scott Townsend, Brad Smith, Andy Beebe, Rawlen Scully, Lance Lopez, and recently added Mannie Arceneaux, you have no option but to get better! We have a very talented group of guys, this is going to be a special year for all of us…Thanks guys
