(2 sec pause at 1″” off ground, 1″” above knee, mid thigh)
2) Press (strict)
Set 1 50% of possible 1-RM x 5 reps

The herd was hopping today–even had an Old Billy Goat (Pit) stray into the group. Fun morning.
Halting Clean Deadlift—used 195 lbs
Press-worked up to 155 lbs as strict press
Wod-9:08. Fun workout. Rocket had the rower standing on its back end.
Brad calling out Pit as an old goat in front of the pack today was an all-time classic. Pit is going to be so pissed about that when it sinks in.
Halted Clean Deadlifts @ 195#, for some reason it was a little harder to engage the hamstrings on this than the snatch grip for me, especially at the mid thigh position.
Strict Press – 175#. I had to make Brad and Roger stop on their 5th set or they would still be up there looking for a max.
The draft from Roger’s rowing assault blew me and my rower on our sides during round 3, which contributed to my not so great time of 11:20.
