A Night Out w/ Fran!!!

The festivities will begin at 5:30pm. Plenty of Eddie’s BBQ and Strawberry Abita and Fran. Here’s the protocol: Athletes will be responsible for their own warm up. Suggested warm up routine will be on the board. Fran will be completed in groups of 3 to 4. Feel free to choose your own groups. Each group will take about 10 minutes and the next group will immediately follow. After your done, hang around as long as you’d like. Bring your family and friends and you don’t have to do the WOD, though it’s encouraged. Even if you want to go later, try to come early to cheer everyone on – we will need it.

About Fran: This WOD will make you a better person. You will be better at life when you walk out of CF Alex tomorrow night (and not just because of the Abita). Others are going to need your encouragement and you are going to need them. You will dig deep. It’s going to hurt. You are going to leave it all out there.

A few other things: Not everyone can do this WOD as prescribed. That’s perfectly fine. The WOD can easily be scaled. Full range of motion will still be required baring injury. No matter the time, an athlete that does it prescribed beats an athlete that scaled. The “more prescribed” beats the “less prescribed” no matter the time i.e. pull ups with a band finishing in 10 minutes beats jumping pull ups that finish in 7 minutes. Bring your ipod if if you want to play certain music.
