Nutrition is the Foundation!
Proper nutrition is not a diet; it’s a lifestyle! It’s about fueling your body with the proper nutrients in order to help you achieve an optimal level of wellness and fitness. As illustrated in the CrossFit Fitness Pyramid, a.k.a. the “Theoretical Hierarchy of Development”, all areas of athletic performance depends upon proper nutrition. Without a solid base of nutrition, your wellness, fitness, and athletic performance will never be fully realized.

Developing your foundation with our 1-on-1 Nutrition Consultations
It’s no secret! We all know that proper nutrition begins with quality foods. So, during our 1-on-1 consultations, education on nutrition is not necessarily the primary goal. This consultation is more about taking action. It’s about discussing, on an individual basis, the conditions and structures that may be holding you back from automatically doing what you already know is the right thing to do and then once discovered, setting up a new and reasonable condition to help you solve those problems.
Each session will last about 30-45 minutes and consist of a 1-on-1 discussion with a coach. The first step is to discuss your goals. If you need a little guidance on determining your goals check out our latest post on Goal Setting. Once we discuss the things that you want to accomplish, we will then help you in determining a few reasonable behaviors that you can implement in order to achieve your goals. Accomplishing a strong nutritional foundation for most people may not necessarily be about making a huge lifestyle change, but about making several small, manageable changes that will last a lifetime.

Our 1-on-1 Nutrition Consultations are totally Free and open to all current and new members of CrossFit 28! There will be a sign up sheet posted at the gym with various times listed to meet with one of our coaches and complete your free 1-on-1 nutrition consultation.
