1) Clean and Jerk:
5 attempts @ 95% 1RM
1 attempts @ 85% 1RM
1 attempts @ 75% 1RM

2) Front Squat
3 x 3 (add 5 lbs to last week’s load)
Rest as needed between sets

3) 4 x 2 behind the neck press (strict)

4) 3 rounds for time
15 thrusters (95/65 lb)
Run 200m

  1. Clean and Jerk:
    215 x 5 failed on 4th rep
    195 x 1
    175 x 1, Def need to work on my form on the jerk portion, or i could just get strong enough to strict press it like Brad “The Hulk”.
    Front Squat:
    Worked with 245, most i’ve done yet.
    135 lb strict press
    4:07 on the wod, thrusters were a killer, Great Day!! still have a lot of work to do though.

  2. Squat Clean and Split Jerk:
    210, 215, 215, 215, 215—all successful lifts
    195 x 1
    175 x 1
    Front Squat:
    3 x 3 at 245 lbs
    Strict press–4 x 2 at 135 lbs
    3:32 on WOD—3 rft of 15 x 95 lb thrusters and 8 x bar facing burpees (in lieu of 200 meter runs)

  3. Successful on all C&J – worked with 250 for 95%. Was challenging but felt like I could have done more which means the stimulus was just right. Similar to the Snatch session earlier in the week.

    Squats felt solid

    Sub behind the neck with 4 sets of 2 push press @ 225

    Morning crew was strong as usual.

    95 lbs on C&J x 5 reps (all successful but will have to improve form on jerk)
    85 lbs much better jerk form
    75 lbs ditto

    135 x3, 140 x3, 145 x3 on front squat
    60 lbs on strick BN strict press (55 lbs previously)

    5:03 on Thruster / BFB WOD … had to break up last round quite a bit. Great workout though.

    Also due to odd number did Boot Camp 10 min AMRAP team WOD 25M suicides with KB (light weight)

    Squat Clean & Split Jerk
    195lbs x 5 Failed on 2nd attemp due to brain fart. Last two felt the best.
    185lbs x 1 Good
    175lbs x 1 Good
    Front Squat 3@235, 3@235 & 3@240
    BN Strict Press 115lbs I have trouble with flexibility on these and can’t go down all the way, yet.
    WOD (15-95#Thrusters & 8-bar facing burpees) 4:15 My legs were on fire. Need to work on thrusters.

  6. 205×4. Failed on 5th rep
    185×5 just because

    255 3×3 FS
    135 all reps BNP. Tough but worked through

    5:42 on WOD. Thrusters + 200m.
